With the continuous advancement of technology, automated control systems have found widespread applications across various fields. Among these, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), as a crucial automated control device, is extensively utilized in scenarios such as sewage pumping stations, water treatment plants, and water supply pumping stations.
PLCs achieve logical control, timing, counting, data processing, and other functions through programming, enabling the automated control of water treatment equipment like water pumps, chemical dosing devices, and mud scrapers. In this context, WideIOT offers a PLC data acquisition system that facilitates remote monitoring of data collected from various water treatment equipment, providing water utilities with a reliable IoT (Internet of Things) solution.

Automatic Equipment Monitoring: By collecting parameters such as water level, flow rate, voltage, and current from sewage pumping stations, enterprises can gain real-time insights into the start-up and shutdown status of equipment, as well as its operational parameters, enabling unmanned automated operation.
Fault Diagnosis and Handling: In the event of a fault, the system promptly triggers alarms and initiates corresponding corrective actions. For instance, when the water level rises excessively, administrators receive alarm notifications via WeChat, SMS, or email, allowing them to remotely control equipment to ensure on-site safety and stability. This facilitates timely understanding of the pumping station's operational status by staff for maintenance purposes.
Data Acquisition and Analysis: The system collects various operational data from devices within the sewage pumping station, including PLCs, sensors, water pumps, frequency converters, water and electricity meters, such as water level, flow rate, and pressure. This data is stored either locally or on a cloud platform. Through data analysis, staff can gain insights into the pumping station's operational status, providing robust support for system optimization and maintenance.
Remote Monitoring and Maintenance: Through network connectivity, PLCs enable remote monitoring and maintenance. Staff at the monitoring center can obtain real-time information on the pumping station's operational status and perform remote operations as needed, such as uploading/downloading programs and remote programming and debugging, significantly enhancing work efficiency.
