In recent years, urban flood control efforts have continued to face challenges such as insufficient natural retention capacity, lagging drainage infrastructure development, and inadequate emergency management capabilities. Therefore, establishing an efficient and reliable monitoring system for urban underground drainage networks can provide information-based support for advancing urban flood management and enhancing drainage capabilities, thereby mitigating the impacts of extreme events such as torrential rains and floods.

Solutions

Monitoring stations (including water level gauges, flow meters, velocity meters, pressure gauges, etc.) are deployed at urban drainage outlets and key intersections.
