A sandblasting machine is a device that utilizes compressed air or other power sources to drive abrasive materials at high speeds onto the surface of workpieces for cleaning or processing.

Through the impact and friction of the abrasive materials, it effectively removes impurities such as oxide scales, rust, old coatings, and dirt from the workpiece surface, or is used to alter the physical properties of the workpiece surface, such as increasing surface roughness or strengthening the surface.

Sandblasting machines are widely applied in various fields, including metal surface treatment, foundry cleaning, shipbuilding and repair, chemical corrosion protection, architectural decoration, and stone carving.

The broad range of application scenarios poses increasingly high requirements on the after-sales operation and maintenance capabilities of equipment manufacturers, directly relating to customers' production and profitability. In response, WideIOT provides a solution for a remote monitoring, operation, and maintenance management system for sandblasting machines based on industrial intelligent gateways, enabling round-the-clock equipment monitoring and intelligent management.

System Functionalities

  1. Data Acquisition: The gateway collects real-time operational data from the equipment, such as air pressure, flow rate, temperature, and current, and visualizes this data, generating various reports and trend charts to help users understand the equipment's operational status and performance changes.

  2. Fault Prediction and Alert: Through intelligent alert rules, the system predicts and alerts users to abnormal equipment conditions via WeChat, SMS, or email, enabling timely identification of potential fault risks and prompt measures to avoid equipment downtime.

  3. Remote Control: When necessary, equipment parameters can be remotely adjusted, or on/off operations can be performed via mobile phones or computers, such as remotely starting or stopping fans and dust collectors.

  4. Maintenance Management: The system records equipment maintenance history and schedules, establishing a visualized, information-based, and traceable operation and maintenance process, reminding users to conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment condition.

  5. Equipment Management: The system supports simultaneous monitoring and management of multiple sandblasting machines, allowing users to view equipment location distribution, operation and maintenance information, and working status, facilitating centralized management and scheduling of equipment assets.

  6. Data Analysis: The system performs data analysis on the operational performance, maintenance efficiency, and fault frequency of multiple devices, enabling the formulation of scientific and reasonable decisions to promote enterprise digital transformation and upgrading.
