A vulcanizing machine is an automated device used for vulcanizing various rubber and plastic products, featuring functions such as timed mold locking, automatic pressure compensation, automatic temperature control, automatic timing, and alarm upon completion.
It has become a crucial piece of equipment in the rubber industry. Currently, most vulcanizing machines only achieve PLC standalone automatic control, handling production processes locally without collecting and managing operational data, let alone generating responsive data reports. This has slowed down the pace of enterprise informatization construction, leading to resource idleness and wasted production capacity. To address this, WideIoT provides an IoT solution for remote monitoring of PLC data acquisition in vulcanizing machines, enabling functions such as networking, data collection, remote monitoring, and fault alerts for vulcanizing equipment.
Enterprises can view the real-time operational status, process parameters, production information, and alert data of each vulcanizing machine on the factory data dashboard or MES platform. This allows them to adjust production, maintenance, and upkeep tasks according to orders, ensuring that equipment operates in a highly efficient production mode and continuously improving production efficiency.
Implemented Functions
Monitor Machine Types, Quantities, Locations, and Switch Statuses: Monitor information such as the type, quantity, location, and switch status (operating, faulty, standby, etc.) of each machine to form an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dashboard, which helps visually understand equipment utilization rates and optimize them.
View Process Parameters: Monitor process parameters of each machine, such as hydraulic pressure, heating power, steam pressure, heating temperature, and motor frequency, and automatically send alerts when abnormal data is detected.
Obtain Operational Data: Acquire operational data from each machine, such as runtime, production quantity, and pass rate, to assess equipment production capacity, identify abnormal production, and adjust production plans accordingly.
Form Equipment Lifecycle Archives: Establish comprehensive equipment lifecycle archives to understand equipment alert frequencies, maintenance records, and other information, summarize experiences, and implement improvements and timely maintenance to reduce downtime losses.
Provide PLC Remote Maintenance Network Channels: Offer network channels for engineers to perform remote PLC maintenance, including remote programming, debugging, and program uploading and downloading, improving work efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.
