Realizing Digital Management in Smart Sugar Refineries through Industrial IoT

In traditional sugar refineries, the production process is cumbersome and inefficient, relying heavily on manual monitoring and intervention.

 This not only consumes significant manpower and resources but also leads to operational errors, affecting product quality and causing economic losses. However, in smart sugar refineries, these issues are mitigated and improved through the implementation of Industrial IoT technology, enabling digital management of the production process.

Solution

The automated production lines in sugar refining industries include equipment such as crushers, heating pans, mixers, separators, and dryers.

 By integrating WideIOT's industrial smart gateways into the PLCs of various automated devices, data on temperature, pressure, liquid level, voltage, and current can be collected and uploaded to a cloud platform. This facilitates remote monitoring and data analysis of equipment status, process parameters, alarm data, and maintenance work orders, enabling timely management and control to maintain a safe and stable production environment.
