In today's society, the issues of water scarcity and pollution are becoming increasingly severe, making efficient and safe water treatment a global focus.

With the development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, its application in water treatment equipment not only enhances the efficiency of equipment monitoring and management but also provides strong support for the sustainable development of enterprises.

Ultrafiltration equipment is a membrane separation technology device used to separate substances of different molecular weights in a solution.

It primarily utilizes the pore size of ultrafiltration membranes to remove suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses, and other harmful substances from water by applying pressure to force the solution through the membrane surface. Therefore, it often serves as a pretreatment for reverse osmosis equipment to protect reverse osmosis membranes from contamination and improve the stability and lifespan of reverse osmosis systems.

In response to this, WideIOT (Wide Internet of Things) offers an IoT solution for integrating water treatment ultrafiltration equipment.

By collecting data from PLCs through industrial intelligent gateways and uploading it to cloud platforms or upper computers, it provides reliable assistance for monitoring equipment status, water quality parameters, etc., enabling quick detection of abnormalities and faults, and facilitating timely management and control measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of water treatment processes, contributing to the improvement of water service quality and efficiency.

Specific Applications

  1. Data Acquisition and Monitoring: By integrating with PLCs, bed sensors, and other devices, the system can collect real-time data on pump switches, water tank levels, water quality parameters, etc., and upload it to cloud platforms or upper computers via 5G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet networks, enabling real-time and remote monitoring to comprehensively understand water treatment information.
  2. Intelligent Alarming and Notification: When water quality abnormalities or equipment operation issues are detected, the system automatically sends alarm messages to relevant personnel via WeChat, SMS, email, etc., allowing for timely measures to be taken. Simultaneously, it enables quick positioning and diagnosis to understand abnormal equipment and alarm data, enhancing work efficiency.
  3. Remote Operation and Maintenance: Staff can remotely operate and maintain ultrafiltration equipment without the need for on-site visits. Whether adjusting process parameters or performing PLC remote programming, debugging, and program uploading/downloading, all tasks can be completed swiftly, greatly improving work flexibility and response speed.
  4. Energy Management and Optimization: By integrating with electricity meters, the system can accurately record energy consumption at each stage and dynamically adjust electricity usage based on actual demands, ensuring water supply quality while maximizing energy conservation.
