Online Monitoring System Solution for Heat Pump PLC Equipment

Published: 2026-10-22 14:06:30
As a heat source device, heat pumps provide stable and reliable thermal energy and are widely used in home heating, agricultural greenhouses, livestock farming, and industrial production. As automation technology is gradually applied to the heat pump industry, thermal energy can now be precisely controlled, making on-site management more convenient and reliable.

Through WideIOT industrial smart gateways, the system can collect and perform edge computing on operating data from on-site heat pump PLC equipment, enable variable monitoring and automatic alerting, remote control and parameter setting, and connect to databases to store and preserve historical operating data. Based on heat exchange volume and instantaneous energy consumption, the monitoring center calculates the energy efficiency ratio—enabling better uation of heat pump operating performance.

System Functions

Real-Time Monitoring
The system monitors various operating parameters of the heat pump system in real time—such as temperature, pressure, liquid level, and energy consumption—and displays the monitoring data on the monitoring center's large screen or cloud platform. Users can check the heat pump system's operating status at any time and stay informed of its conditions.

Fault Early Warning
By monitoring operating data and comparing it against preset safe parameter ranges, the system can automatically issue early warnings when abnormal data or equipment faults are detected. Notifications are sent to management personnel via WeChat, SMS, or email—enabling rapid localization, diagnosis, and corrective action.

Remote Control
Management personnel can remotely adjust heat pump unit operating parameters in response to indoor and outdoor environmental changes and real-time requirements to achieve the optimal energy efficiency ratio. For example, by adjusting fan speed and controlling valve open/close status, the heat pump system can operate rationally—improving system operating efficiency and stability.

Data Reports and Statistics
The system stores historical data online and automatically generates operating reports, energy consumption statistics, and other documents—helping users gain a comprehensive understanding of system operating conditions. Users can query, export, and download the data they need, providing a basis for energy-saving renovations.

Remote Maintenance and Upgrades
The system supports remote software upgrades and online maintenance—reducing the need for on-site service and improving maintenance efficiency. Through the PLC remote maintenance system, users can perform programming, debugging, and program upload/download operations on equipment—ensuring the system always remains in optimal operating condition and avoiding the risk of fault-related downtime.
