Online Water Quality Monitoring System Solution for Sewage Outfalls

In recent years, with technological advancement and China's ongoing urbanization, the volume of wastewater discharged into the environment has been steadily increasing, and water pollution has become increasingly severe. However, water quality monitoring at pollution sources and discharge channels across the country still relies partly on manual sampling—making it difficult to reflect changes in sewage discharge in real time.

To address this, WideIOT offers an online water quality monitoring system solution for sewage outfalls. By deploying hydrological gateways (RTUs) together with water quality analyzers at sewage outfall monitoring points, the system collects real-time data on COD, pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, and other parameters, and transmits it to regulatory authority platforms. This enables remote monitoring of water quality parameters, threshold alerts, real-time management, and data analytics—providing efficient and reliable means to prevent water pollution incidents and avoid further escalation with serious consequences.

System Functions

Real-Time Monitoring – Collects data on water volume, flow velocity, pH, temperature, and other key indicators continuously, 24 hours a day.
Data Analytics – Uses data analysis to perform in-depth assessment of collected information, predict future trends, and provide scientific and rational decision-making support.
Remote Management – Allows managers to view the location distribution and quantity of monitoring stations at any time, and to edit and configure related information.
Alarm Mechanism – Automatically triggers alerts and notifies relevant personnel for timely response when water quality exceeds standards or other abnormal conditions occur. Notifications are supported via WeChat, SMS, and email.
Visualized Interface – Users can intuitively understand the current status of each station and historical data analysis results through a user-friendly graphical interface.
