Water treatment plants are crucial infrastructure for smart water management.

 By utilizing IoT data acquisition gateways, water level gauges, flow meters, electricity meters, water quality monitors, cameras, and other devices, in conjunction with a smart water management platform, a comprehensive IoT system can be established for monitoring, management, control, and analysis. This system plays a vital role in achieving digital management of water treatment plants.

WideIOT introduces an IoT data acquisition gateway capable of connecting multiple hydrological sensor devices, PLCs, cameras, and other equipment.

 It enables real-time data collection and uploads the data to the smart water platform via 5G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet, facilitating remote control, monitoring, alarm handling, operation and maintenance management, and data analysis on the platform. This provides reliable support for the continuous operation of water treatment plants.

System Architecture

  1. Sensor Layer: Includes liquid level sensors, water quality detectors (dissolved oxygen, turbidity, pH value, conductivity, temperature), radar water level gauges, flow meters, rainfall sensors, etc.

  2. Transmission Layer: Utilizes the WideIOT IoT data acquisition gateway to upload data to the cloud platform or upper computer via 5G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet.

  3. Application Layer: Enables visualization and intelligent monitoring and management functions such as environmental monitoring, equipment control, statistical analysis, and automatic alarms.

System Functions

  1. Data Acquisition: Enables the collection and real-time communication of data from various sensor devices, including flow, liquid level, pressure, water quality parameters, and surveillance videos.

  2. Intelligent Alarms: Allows for custom configuration of multiple alarm conditions, with alarm information pushed via WeChat, SMS, email, etc., and generates operation and maintenance work orders.

  3. Equipment Management: Facilitates online management and information editing of various equipment in the water treatment plant, aiding in understanding equipment capabilities and asset levels, and improving management efficiency.

  4. Work Order Management: Integrates inspection and maintenance work order tasks, tracking progress and work logs, with functions such as accepting orders, canceling alarms, returning, reviewing, and uating.

  5. Remote Operations: Enables remote programming and debugging of PLCs, as well as remote uploading and downloading of programs, effectively improving work efficiency and reducing operation and maintenance costs.

  6. Data Analysis: Facilitates analysis of various data such as water consumption, network leakage, and energy consumption of the water treatment plant, thereby identifying suitable optimization strategies.
