As the requirements for refined water resource management continue to rise, various natural water bodies have garnered significant attention, necessitating the maintenance of their ecological and flow safety.

A certain project demands real-time monitoring of river flow rates, for which WideIOT provides a cost-effective and efficient IoT solution.

Solution Architecture
Multiple sub-stations are set up upstream and downstream of the river, equipped with flow meters and WD240 data acquisition terminals capable of real-time flow data collection and LoRa transmission.

Subsequently, a small number of main stations are established, deploying WG593 smart gateways to receive flow data from WD240 terminals and facilitate 4G network and specific protocol connections to the river monitoring and management platform, enabling remote access and online management via mobile phones, computers, and other means.

Implemented Functions

• Multi-parameter Integrated Monitoring: Supports simultaneous collection and uploading of water level, flow rate, water quality (e.g., pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity) parameters.

• Remote Gate and Pump Linkage Control: Enables remote control of gates and pumps for precise water volume allocation.

• Water Quality Abnormality Alerts: Automatically sends alerts (via WeChat, SMS, email) when water quality parameters exceed standards, aiding in traceability and response.

• Data Statistical Analysis: uates ecological water volume scheduling effectiveness through long-term monitoring data and supports quick export of custom reports.

• Multi-center Data Sharing: Supports data reporting to multiple platforms using protocols such as SL651, HJ212, MQTT, and Modbus.

• Industrial-grade Protection Design: Supports various power supply methods including batteries, solar power, and mains electricity, with high and low-temperature resistance and industrial-grade protective casings.
