PLC Data Acquisition Solution for Vacuum Pelletizers

A vacuum pelletizer is a specialized piece of equipment designed to process materials into granular products under vacuum conditions. Its core principle involves reducing the internal pressure of the equipment through a vacuum system and combining specific pelletizing processes to achieve uniform pellet formation of materials. A workshop is equipped with multiple vacuum pelletizers, purchased at different times, with control systems including PLCs from Siemens, Schneider, and other brands. There is now a requirement to collect equipment data and interface it with a host computer system via a local area network (LAN) to enable online monitoring and management control.

  • Multiple Internet Connectivity Options: The gateway supports various internet connectivity methods such as 5G, 4G, WiFi, and Ethernet. It can interface with remote software platforms (including WideIoT's self-developed cloud platform, as well as other IoT cloud platforms like RootCloud, Midea Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Baidu Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and industrial software such as SCADA software, MES systems, and ERP systems) via protocols like MQTT, MODBUS, OPC UA, SQL, HTTP databases.

  • Edge Computing Capabilities: The gateway supports various edge computing functions such as intelligent data acquisition, data filtering, alarm calculation, change-triggered events, formula calculations, and grouping strategies. By establishing equipment models and standardizing data, it eliminates equipment heterogeneity and achieves standardization, significantly reducing project development and construction costs.
