Drip irrigation technology, as a crucial component of precision agriculture, has been widely adopted globally due to its characteristics of efficient water conservation, reduced soil erosion, and increased crop yields. However, the effective operation of drip irrigation systems relies on real-time monitoring and data analysis of farmland. In response to this, WideIOT offers an efficient and reliable IoT solution for data collection in farmland drip irrigation systems.
Sensor nodes deployed on the farmland site include sensors and instruments for measuring water pressure, flow rate, soil temperature and humidity, etc. By reasonably deploying WideIOT's intelligent data acquisition gateways according to the structure of the drip irrigation system and the distribution of equipment, it is possible to collect data such as water pressure, flow rate, soil temperature and humidity, and pH value, and transmit them in real-time via 4G networks to the farmland drip irrigation management platform. This enables the construction of a "digital twin smart farmland," comprehensively perceiving the operational status of the drip irrigation system and facilitating rational management, thereby further enhancing water resource utilization efficiency and agricultural production benefits.

The gateway is equipped with multiple RS485/RS232 serial ports, supporting the connection of multiple sensors, instruments, and other devices for "one-to-many" data collection. It also features industrial-grade protection, operation in high and low-temperature environments, and low energy consumption design.
The collected data on water pressure, flow rate, soil temperature and humidity, etc., are transmitted in real-time to local monitoring systems or cloud platforms, enabling visual monitoring and management of the farmland. This allows for the understanding of equipment location distribution, real-time parameters, and other information.
Managers can adjust the drip irrigation strategies for different regions based on data such as crop type, growth stage, and soil moisture conditions, achieving refined and scientific farming operations.
Flexible setting of alarm thresholds enables automatic notifications via WeChat, SMS, email, etc., when abnormal data is detected. This facilitates rapid positioning, diagnosis, and response, enhancing management levels and work efficiency.
