In industrial and commercial application scenarios, power batteries often need to face the impact of different working environments, and abnormal battery failures are inevitable.

 To accurately obtain the working status of power batteries and implement management strategies, the BMS (Battery Management System) needs to collect voltage, working current, temperature, and other information of each battery cell and battery pack in real-time through sampling circuits. This is crucial for monitoring, managing, and protecting the batteries.

The BMS battery management system ensures the safe operation of batteries by continuously monitoring parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature.

 Simultaneously, the battery management system can also manage the charging and discharging of batteries, identify abnormalities, and automatically control to ensure the stable operation of the system and extend the battery's lifespan. By interfacing the BMS battery management system with a WideIOT (formerly Wutongbolian) industrial smart gateway, the gateway can collect voltage, current, temperature, and other data in real-time and transmit them to a cloud platform or local upper computer, enabling real-time monitoring and abnormal handling of the BMS to ensure battery safety and reliability.


After collecting voltage, current, temperature, and other data, the gateway can transmit them to a cloud platform or local upper computer via 5G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet, enabling real-time monitoring of each battery cell and battery pack.

 When safety thresholds are exceeded, the system will automatically send alerts via WeChat, SMS, or email, allowing timely adjustments to the charging and discharging processes, optimizing battery performance, and preventing potential hazards such as overcharging, overdischarging, overcurrent, and overheating.

Based on continuous tracking and data analysis of battery parameters, enterprises can develop battery management experience, predict potential battery failures, and take timely measures to extend battery lifespan. Additionally, they can repair defects and failures, thereby improving equipment processes and management levels, and continuously optimizing the working performance of the BMS system.
