Cleanroom Circulating Fan Visualized Monitoring and Management System Solution

Published: 2026-07-13 11:11:39
For cleanrooms in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, and precision manufacturing, circulating fan systems are core equipment for maintaining stable cleanliness, temperature, and humidity levels. However, their large numbers and decentralized installation make them a significant management challenge. In one particular cleanroom facility, multiple indoor circulation systems and fresh air/exhaust systems are installed, requiring on-site staff to manually turn fans on and off via a central HMI touchscreen. When abnormal faults occur, they often go undetected in a timely manner. In addition, some equipment is located in harsh or complex environments, making manual inspections relatively unsafe.

To address these issues, WideIOT offers a circulating fan visualized monitoring and management system solution built around industrial data acquisition gateways, enabling centralized control and intelligent maintenance. By connecting to the PLC controllers of each circulating fan unit, the gateways collect real-time data such as temperature, humidity, on/off status, and operating frequency. The gateways also support protocol conversion from Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP for integration with local monitoring systems. This enables comprehensive functions including real-time monitoring, alerting, management, control, maintenance, and data analytics for all circulating fans across the workshop, ultimately improving operational efficiency and management standards while ensuring a safe and stable cleanroom environment.

Key Features

1. From the central control room, managers can view real-time operating status, temperature, humidity, differential pressure, cleanliness, and other critical data for all circulating fans in the workshop via a PC-based HMI interface. Remote start/stop and frequency adjustment are also supported, eliminating the need for tedious manual inspections and on-site operations.

2. The system supports customizable alarm rules (e.g., temperature/humidity exceeding thresholds, fan shutdown, abnormal differential pressure, etc.). When an anomaly is detected, alarm notifications are automatically sent via SMS, WeChat, email, or other channels, alerting personnel to quickly locate and resolve issues, thereby keeping the cleanroom environment safe and under control.

3. The industrial data acquisition gateway features store-and-forward functionality with data caching during network interruptions. If the on-site network is temporarily disconnected, the gateway automatically caches all collected data. Once network connectivity is restored, the cached data is automatically retransmitted, ensuring complete data integrity with no loss.

4. The industrial data acquisition gateway supports data collection and protocol parsing for a wide range of domestic and international PLC brands, including Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, Delta, and Inovance. It also supports multiple network connectivity options such as 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet, enabling automated remote meter reading and data acquisition.
