In many factory automation projects, manufacturers place significant emphasis on equipment alarm programs that can output corresponding warning information to alert on-site operators of abnormal conditions, ensuring timely fault handling and maintaining safe and stable production operations.

For instance, three-color lights in many production workshops can visually display equipment operating status by connecting to corresponding PLC alarm signals to achieve operations such as constant lighting, flashing, and extinguishing.

 However, this method requires on-site personnel for patrol inspections and incurs costs and time for PLC modifications. Additionally, it is inconvenient as workshop data dashboards cannot centrally display equipment status. Therefore, using the WideIoT gateway to connect to PLCs enables real-time collection of alarm data, remote automatic alarms, and centralized display on workshop dashboards, facilitating alarm monitoring, alerting, control, and management, and enhancing equipment management levels to ensure production safety.

3. Edge Computing Functions: It supports various edge computing functions such as intelligent data collection, filtering, alarm calculation, jump triggering, formula calculation, and grouping strategies, enhancing system stability and high concurrency.

Comprehensive Device Anomaly Monitoring and Self-Healing: It incorporates multiple layers of hardware and software watchdogs and achieves multi-dimensional device anomaly monitoring and self-healing from the system, network, and application layers through network reconnection, breakpoint continuation, and function monitoring.

5. Multiple Alarm Rule Settings: It allows setting various alarm rules to automatically notify via WeChat, SMS, or email when corresponding alarm data is detected, enabling rapid fault equipment and cause identification and timely response.
