The scale of irrigation districts continues to expand, and their level of informatization is steadily improving. By implementing an intelligent irrigation district information monitoring and management system, real-time tracking of water resource changes within the districts is achieved. This plays a vital role in ensuring the safe operation of irrigation projects, optimizing water resource allocation, enhancing water utilization efficiency, and advancing the development of high-standard farmland.
Integrated equipment within irrigation districts, including gates, water level gauges, and flow meters, connects to the WideIOT hydrological and water management gateway (RTU). Data is transmitted via 5G/4G to the water administration authority platform or other management platforms, enabling visual display and automatic alerts upon detecting abnormal readings. This facilitates precise management of channel water levels, flow rates, and rainfall-runoff conditions within irrigation districts. Furthermore, leveraging alert notifications and real-time data, managers can dynamically adjust irrigation water intake strategies, remotely control gate and pump operations, and remotely access surveillance footage. This significantly enhances operational efficiency and response capabilities, ensuring uninterrupted water supply for agricultural production.
Real-time Monitoring
Monitor the operating status and monitoring parameters of each gate and pump station, such as water level, flow rate, velocity, real-time video and other information, displayed in the form of charts and lists.
Map Display
Form multiple monitoring perspectives such as equipment maps and canal system maps based on GIS electronic maps to understand the location distribution of stations, canal networks and basic information.
Intelligent Alarm
When the monitoring data of each station exceeds the upper and lower limits, alarms are automatically sent via WeChat, SMS, email, etc. Check the alarm equipment, time, type and other information and take timely measures.
Remote Intelligent Control
Realize remote control of PLC for equipment such as water pumps and gates. Combine real-time data and real-time video to reasonably adjust gate status, enhance work flexibility and achieve unattended operation.
Project Status Management
Realize full-life-cycle operation and maintenance management of various water conservancy and irrigation projects, obtain information such as station construction time, maintenance cycle, alarm frequency and adjust management work.
Data Analysis
Realize visual data analysis of water right trading and water resource allocation. Understand the irrigation capacity of the irrigation district and the water demand of farmers, formulate scientific and reasonable decisions, avoid drought and flood disasters and ensure agricultural production.
