Groundwater is a vital freshwater resource that not only plays a crucial role in ensuring water supply for urban and rural life and production but also serves an indispensable function in safeguarding ecological and environmental security. However, excessive groundwater extraction and water pollution issues in recent years have posed serious threats to groundwater safety.
By implementing dynamic monitoring and management of groundwater, various groundwater-related problems can be detected in a timely manner. This enables the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent issues such as excessive groundwater extraction and water pollution disasters, ensuring the rational utilization of this limited water resource.
Water level gauges, flow meters, water quality monitors, temperature sensors, and other equipment within groundwater monitoring wells are connected to the WideIOT Hydrology Gateway (RTU). Data is transmitted via 5G/4G networks to the water administration authority platform for visualization. The system automatically triggers alerts upon detecting abnormal data, providing reliable support for studying groundwater dynamics and disaster prevention. Through macro-level regulatory measures, it ensures sustainable groundwater extraction and protection, comprehensively safeguarding groundwater security and promoting rational water resource utilization.
Real-time Monitoring
Keep track of changes in groundwater monitoring data such as water level, flow rate, water quality, and water temperature anytime through mobile devices, PC terminals, data dashboards, etc.
Map Display
The GIS electronic map real-time shows information such as the location distribution, quantity and type, working status, and number of alarms of each monitoring well.
Overlimit Alarm
Once the groundwater level, water quality data exceeds the limit or equipment malfunctions, the system can send alarm information in a timely manner, notifying the management department to take prompt handling measures via WeChat, SMS, email, etc.
Data Reissue
When the network is abnormal, data packets are temporarily stored locally, and all pending data is reissued from the breakpoint after communication is restored.
Station Management
Centrally manage monitoring stations and equipment, realizing functions such as data entry, addition, editing, deletion, and query. Newly added and decommissioned stations can be quickly configured.
Data Analysis
Construct multi-scale and long-term groundwater data analysis models to obtain data reports and curves of water level, water quality, etc., comprehensively judge the safety status of groundwater, and thus make scientific and reasonable decisions.
