During long-term operation, water supply networks experience issues such as pipe aging and damage, leading to water leakage. Traditional leakage detection methods are inefficient and struggle to accurately locate leak points. To reduce leakage rates in water supply networks and enhance water resource utilization efficiency, an advanced DMA zone metering leakage monitoring system is required.
The water supply network is divided into multiple DMA zones. Flow sensors and pressure sensors are installed at the inlet and outlet of each zone. The collected flow and pressure data is transmitted in real time to the DMA zone metering and leakage monitoring platform via WideIOT's industrial smart gateway. The platform performs real-time data analysis and processing, utilizing mathematical models and algorithms to assess leakage conditions and precisely pinpoint leak locations. Additionally, the platform features zone-based metering management capabilities, enabling statistical analysis of water usage across each zone to support maintenance decision-making.
